Not just any tight black
dress will do, oh no! You'll need to find just the right
one! There are many variations of the "Elvira" dress on the
market ranging from very cheap to the real thing, it just
depends on what you want to spend. If this is something that
you'll wear year after year, we suggest that you invest in a
more expensive, official dress.
After you
have the dress, you'll need the shoes, fishnets, a wig and
finally makeup to complete the look. The shoes are easy,
just find a really simple pair of black stiletto heels, the
higher, the better. A pair of fishnet pantyhose will be easy
to find. They sell them everywhere around Halloween!
The hard part is finding a
wig that looks like the bee-hive hair-do of Elvira. Most of
the wigs passing themselves off as Elvira wigs are simply
long black hair with a shag cut at the top. No bee hive, no
lift, just a bad wig. That means finding the best one to

we all know, Elvira wouldn't be Elvira without her trademark
wise cracks and "the heck with everyone" attitude! If you
want to dress like the Mistress of the Dark, you better be
prepared to act like her as well.
