 Which
ever style you go with, it'll be great! Lydia can be
dressed in any type of Goth wedding dress. There
used to be a red bridal dress, the Devil's Bride,
that is unfortunately no longer made, that looked
just like the one from the movie. So, you'll have to
go with what you find. But it should look like a
brides dress, with a veil. If it's red, all the
better.
Doing a Beetlejuice
make-up on your guy can be difficult but there is a
complete make-up kit that can be found at Halloween
retailers made just for this. You can also find the
Beetlejuice wig or a kit for adding Beetlejuice
hair. There's a "Grand Heritage Beetlejuice" costume
for around $141.00 (U.S.) that comes with everything
including make-up and wig.
Lydia should have a
shoulder length black bob, like she did in the
movie, so you may want to add a wig for that. We did
find a costume called "Gothic Bride" that runs about
$42.00 (U.S.) and looks pretty cool, it's all black
but full length and has a veil with it. See the
picture above for both costumes.
Just remember to have
your guy get with the Beetlejuice persona, be rude,
be mouthy and be a jokester! Watch the movie to get
you both in the mood and don these wonderful adult
Halloween costumes!
